About Halloween Town

Halloween Town is an incredible event, first established on the grounds of Tohkomeupog in October of 2009.  Inspired by the thought of getting camp alumni together to do something special for the benefit of others,  Halloween Town supports The Laura Foundation for Autism & Epilepsy.

That first year, about 300 people turned out to explore the haunted pathways, visiting a series of theatrically transformed cabins in the search for treats… and adventure.  Since then, Halloween Town has become a highly anticipated community event, attracting thousands of visitors each year.

Halloween Town is designed to be a safe, entertaining way for kids to celebrate the spirit of this holiday.  Hundreds of volunteers – Alumni of Tohkomeupog, friends of Purity Spring Resort, and members of the Mount Washington Valley Community – combine creativity to bring this uniquely fun & fantastical experience to life.

In terms of The Laura Foundation, Halloween Town serves two purposes.  For one, we use the event to connect with the local community… and to raise awareness about our mission. Halloween Town is also a very important fund-raiser for our organization.

This is ‘Trick-or-Treat’ fun at its absolute best!
