Sample Weekend Schedule
Friday, August 8
9:45am: Tee-time! Announcing the 30th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament - join us on the green for this traditional fundraising event in support of the E. Milton Hoyt Scholarship Fund.
Anytime: Beach Day! Prefer hanging out on the beach, instead of the green? Enjoy the warm sands of Sunset Beach and the sparkling waters of Purity Lake. This has become a very popular alternative activity.
6:00pm: Welcome Home! For those driving up to the valley today, check-in time for lodging begins at 6:00pm. Please remember that summer camp ends today! After our campers depart, there is a lot of cleanup and preparation needed to get ready for your arrival at Alumni Weekend. We ask that you adhere to the 6:00pm arrival time. Also be aware that there will no dinner service at camp tonight. We suggest visiting Traditions Restaurant at Purity Spring Resort.
9:30pm: Wolf Hill! We invite you to gather with us around the campfire to reunite and reminisce with the Tribe. BYOB
Saturday, August 9
8:00am: Breakfast - Breakfast will be availalble in the camp dining room - Tecumseh. Hours: 8:00am to 9:30am. Please be aware that a noon meal will not be served in the dining room. Following breakfast, you will be able to make your own boxed lunch - sandwich makings will be available. This way you may enjoy your own picnic lunch whenever and wherever you like. We suggest the camp waterfront as a very nice location.
10:00am: Morning Activities - a selection of traditional camp activities will be available, including the potential for Staff Hoops in the Tohko Dome. Tennis Courts, Hiking Trails, and the Camp Waterfront are always options. Specifics to be announced at breakfast.
1:00pm: Alumni Meeting - Osceola (all alumni encouraged to attend.) Your voice is important; your presence appreciated! Meeting led by current members of the Tohkomeupog Alumni Association.
2:30pm: Afternoon Activity - for those who are interested, the Traditional Softball Game will take place on Alumni Field. Also, the Camp Waterfront will be available; specifics to be announced.
4:00pm: Free Swim / Goof-Off
5:00pm: Adult Happy Hour at the Camp Waterfront, which will eventually transfer up to the Deer Clan BYOB
6:00pm: Dinner - we are planning to host a traditional Lobster / Steak Cookout in the Deer Clan (kids meal available starting at 5:30pm)
We will be eating under the stars tonight, providing that Mother Nature remains supportive. If the weather sours, we may choose to re-locate to a protected location.
7:00pm: Movie Night for the kids in Osceola - movie selection to be determined
8:00pm: Saturday Night Social! Following dinner, all alumni & guests are invited to remain in the Deer Clan to socialize and be merry.
Sunday, August 10
8:00am: Breakfast - Breakast will NOT be served in the camp dining room this morning. However, for those wishing to eat on property, a breakfast menu will be available for purchase at Traditions Restaurant, located at Purity Spring Resort. Hours of Operation: 7:00am to 11:00am.
11:00am: Check-Out. Please understand that all rooms and cabins need to be cleaned and prepared for Family Camp to begin tomorrow. Although you may stay and enjoy the property into the day, we must ask that you abide by the 11:00am check-out of your lodging.
11:30am: Waterskiing / Wakeboarding / Knee-boarding! Enjoy the afternoon at Sunset Beach - this is the final activity for the weekend.
